Maintenance Technician

Valley City, North Dakota

Located in Valley City, N.D. and reporting to the Area Manager, our Maintenance Technicians ensure that our area operates reliably, safely and competitively, and remains environmentally responsible. To qualify you will have mechanical experience in rotating equipment and Aerial reciprocating compressors experience is a plus. As a key technical resource, you will be sharing your expertise with team members who come from diverse technical, business and educational backgrounds. You and your team will be held accountable in several key areas including, but not limited to, safety, environment, reliability, customer/stakeholder focus and budget performance.

Your strengths include the ability to coach and mentor members of your team. During your 3+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry you have become well-versed in operations, high pressure gas transmission, inspections and/or commissioning. A degree/diploma in a recognized Mechanical program would be preferred. Your responsibilities can also include pipeline related activities (pipeline locating, crossings, witness road and seismic crossings, CP, etc). A strong pipeline maintenance background would be an asset. Familiarity with and a core understanding of computer systems and software are required.

You will be expected to be on call for operations on a rotational basis for the facilities in the area.
