Alliance Pipeline’s Charity Partners initiative aims to address a local need in the Calgary community through a two-year collaboration between our employees, our company and a small to mid-sized local charity.
The Charity Partners Program engages employees at our corporate head office in Calgary who select a charitable partner and, through fundraising and volunteer efforts, help the charity address an important community need. Alliance then matches employee contributions to the cause, dollar-for-dollar.
The program is now in its third cycle, having partnered in past with Inn From the Cold and Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids. In 2016, Alliance received video applications from Calgary charities, communicating how a two-year partnership could make an impact at their organization. From those applications, our employees selected the Seniors Secret Service Society as our 2017-2018 Charity Partner.
We have worked to make a significant impact for Calgary seniors through partnering with this small non-profit that serves to bring both good cheer and basic necessities to seniors in need.
While we are excited about helping address seniors' needs over the course of the partnership, there were many worthwhile applications submitted – and so we thank all those who took the time to apply and spread the word about their own important work in the community.
To see the great work all these charities are doing in the Calgary community, check out the
Charity Partner application videos.
The process to select the next Charity Partner is slated to kick-off in the summer of 2018. However, the Charity Partners program is currently on hold due to the
operating model transition currently underway at Alliance. Interested parties are encouraged to continue checking this webpage for updates, prior to compiling an application.
