Click or Call Before You Dig

Every year, failure to "click or call before you dig" results in injury, legal hassles and disruption of utilities - like power, water, and telephone - for hundreds of thousands of individuals and families.

There's more at risk than a natural gas pipeline.
Always click or call before you dig!

Unauthorized digging is the number one cause of pipeline related incidents. That's why Alliance Pipeline is actively involved in damage prevention programs in Canada and the United States. While the laws and regulations governing excavation and ground disturbance activities near pipelines differ slightly in each country, the goal is the same - public safety and system integrity.

Always click or call before undertaking any sort of digging or excavation project, including:

  • Deep ploughing
  • Drain tile installation
  • Installing a new deck, fence or driveway
  • Planting a tree
  • Installing a new mailbox post
