Project Overview
Alliance Pipeline L.P. (Alliance) is proposing to construct, install, own, operate, and maintain approximately 2.8-miles of 20-inch diameter natural gas pipeline, a new metering and regulating station, and other related auxiliary facilities and appurtenances. The Project will provide natural gas transportation services to Competitive Power Ventures’ planned Three Rivers Energy Center in Grundy County, Illinois. The proposed Three Rivers Interconnection Project will be capable of delivering approximately 210 million standard cubic feet per day of natural gas.
Project Schedule: Tentative

- FERC Certificate – March 2023
- Construction begins – Q4 2023
- Facilities in-service – Q2 2024
About the Alliance Pipeline system:
The Alliance Pipeline system consists of both a Canadian and a U.S. segment. Alliance Pipeline Limited Partnership (“Alliance Canada”) owns the Canadian portion of the Alliance Pipeline system. Alliance Pipeline L.P. (“Alliance USA”) owns the U.S. portion of the Alliance Pipeline system. Each of Alliance Canada and Alliance US is ultimately owned by Pembina Pipeline Corporation.
